Director of Religious Education

The Multi-Talented Rick Carkin is our Director of Religious Education (DRE). In addition to serving as our DRE, Rick is also a Justice of the Peace, and the contact for our Wedding chapel for same sex wedding and civil union services. Rick is also an accomplished Pampered Chef consultant. In what little spare time he has, Rick sings in the Church Choir and also in a local a capella ensemble, or spends time in his in-home quilting studio. You can see Rick most Sunday mornings, walking the halls of UUCM, serving the Religious Education classrooms and teachers, and providing safety and security for all the children in our RE program.

Office Administrator

Our Office Administrator is Joanne Spilios. Joanne lives in Weare, where she enjoys her two horses. Her career path has taken her into many arenas, both here and in the United Kingdom. In addition to her work with UUCM, she works at her practice as a Jungian analyst. Her office hours are weekdays from 9:30 to 2.
